Hi Mark,
I am new member who is female. I am also deaf. Have been all my life since birth. No I do not wish to change that about myself. Being deaf has made me unique. I am wondering about members who had some insights to what is in the Heirloom books. I already knew most of what is in those books without having a clue that there was this society. I am more sensitive to things and am able to figure out what I need to do to make life better and to create value in everyday life. I am 25 years old and single. I do have a daughter but at the moment her father’s side of family has her and are trying to keep me from her and make it where I struggle. Do not get me wrong. I have struggled due to the fact that I have to wear a hearing aid in one ear while total deaf in the other. I am pursuing my dreams that I have had since I was little girl. I will let you all know when that comes and how it all ends only to keep beginning all over everyday. Thanks for having chosen me to be part of this. I feel I will somehow bring more to the society.
