I have just finishing reviewing level one meeting a second time as I wanted to pick up on certain points that were mentioned which I had missed. However I want to say how excited and inspired I was after my first viewing. First I felt as though I need to help my fellow level 1 apprentices discover their FNE. However, I have been thinking really hard about my own and I keep coming back to the same things no matter what direction I focus on. – Baking- Recipes-Recreate new products – Teaching – TV Show. Is this in any way integrated thinking? Or a business plan? Today I approach my boss about taking on the new role in helping me to get to the nitty gritty deals to help me with my integrated thinking.
Today he was happy to agree to allow me to shadow him as Food Service Director in training. This way I get to Use recipes, bake products, recreate old or improve them, teach the staff on saying true to the product and improving as well as solving the nitty griity deals no one else once to undertake. I also get to know about the financial side of things.
All this occurred in such a short space of time. It seem almost to good to be true as I now can work on achieving my FNE while working on my intgrated thinking to help me become a value creator while doing my day job.
