why me

I do not understand why I was selected for this.I have read the 3 books,it is very hard to understand this . I am a 57 year old white male that is broke ,busted ,disgusted,devorced,and soon to be homeless.I aint nobody special. been on my own since i was 15 years old. Why Me.
