My Dream of What the Neothink of Sacramento Is

My first live meeting with one other member of NT was at a Starbucks coffee shop. I was rather excited meeting another NT member for the first time. I dressed casual and informal, but not like a slob. My wife, who has been along with me in joining NT, came with me. It was amazing to hear from a complete stranger some of the same ideas and teachings I have been learning and doing all my life.

My second live meeting with two other NT members was at another Starbucks coffee shop. Even though I was meeting two more NT members I had never met before, I felt a little more comfortable this time. I dressed the same as before, as did my wife. While the last meeting lasted about an hour, this one lasted about three hours. What was so exciting and endearing about this meeting is that all who attended were so fired up about NT that we all started making plans for having more NT meetings here in Sacramento.

The next thing I knew, after contacting other NT members in the Sacramento area, my wife and I were meeting nine other NT members at a private reserved room at a Cocoa's restaurant. I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. Listening to all of these members and their ideas made my heart throb with anticipation of what is becoming one of the biggest events in my life. It was from this point on that I realized: this could really work.

That was June 9th, 2007, and it's now September 21st, 2007, and this NT group is not only going on strong and growing, but has also been chosen as one of the first groups to start a public launch. We spend our time creating values and mentoring each other, as well as creating values and mentoring others in our community.

It was March of 2005 when I first heard of Neothink and wondered if the words I was reading were true. Being a skeptic and an optimist at the same time is hard, but it makes you check out all the facts and keep looking for them the whole time. The letter I received made a bold promise: that if I read the letter and discovered its secret, something amazing would happen to me. Within the next two weeks, I started seeing changes in my job and my family life. You see, I work as a part-time clerk at a grocery chain. I was barely making ends meet, and not even always that. I even took a second job, which took me away from my family more and more. This is not how I pictured I'd be living my life.

The changes were subtle at first, even almost unnoticeable. I was first offered more hours at my job as a grocery clerk, which I was thinking about quitting because I had a sales job that made better money but required more of my time. The extra hours came in the form of running a barbecue grill outside the store on the weekends, which meant I had to get safe-serv certified for the food industry. After I topped out on my wage as a warehouse clerk, I was asked to give the grill up because my wages were too high to pay for a grillman. I didn't lose any hours in pay.

Then an opportunity came: a new store was opening and a management position came up. I applied. I received a letter thanking me for applying but rejecting me for that position. At the end of the letter, though, it said to try again, as there would be more openings soon. I did, and was promoted to a front-end manager. This meant I was guaranteed full-time work and better benefits.

Now I'm looking forward to starting my own business using Neothink to power it, and the ideas just keep coming. I seem to integrate thoughts together so easily. Most of my thoughts just seem to come integrated already, but being the skeptic that I am, I still take them apart just to make sure.

This life just keeps getting better and better.
