I had an terrible accident when I was 12 years old…

Dear Mr. Mark Hamilton, I had a terrible accident when I was 12 years old. I got electrocuted and fell two stories onto the cement floor. I was burned very badly on my arms and legs, but the strangest thing, the thing the doctors could not understand, was how I was able to live after having all that electricity go through me.

I remember the doctors kept talking to each other and always kept asking me, “What do you see? Do you feel different? Is there anything you want to tell us?” I did not know what to say. I felt the same.

But then, about six months after I got out of the hospital, I did start to see things differently and feel strange. I never told anyone about it, but at least now I know why the doctors were asking me those things so much. I kept it inside for all those years.

Then one day I got your letter. I started reading it, and at first I thought it was some type of scam or cult and I was going to throw it away. But then I read that you had been looking for me and had finally found me, and I thought, “Oh my god, they found me.” I got a little scared at first, but then I read that I was needed, and I felt different. So I bought the books, and to me it was the best thing I have ever done. It opened my eyes.

I have not made it yet, being successful I mean. For what I can do, I need a good opportunity, or to know someone, and I don't know anyone that great other than you. I hate that I am going to miss out on my opportunity to become a member of GIN, because, like I said, I am not a success yet. I might never get that one opportunity, or bump into that one person, but you never know.

I tell you this much: I would very much like some day to meet you face to face, shake your hand, and tell you thanks personally.

I will take good care of my books forever. Thank you very much.
