I applied your techniques to writing
I attribute my ability to continually work on and produce sound marketable projects to neo-tech/think principles.
Hi Mark, back in the nineties I was introduced to Neo-Tech and purchased all your books. I found your mini day schedule and your business theories coincided with the way I ran my construction and rental business.
I also applied your techniques to writing, my second career back then and my first career now that I'm retired from construction. I'm 72 and shut down my last construction business in 2012. My writing business has resulted in the publication of two books and a dozen screenplays, one of which was optioned but is still unproduced, and two of which won awards in worldwide screenplay competitions. My latest script, "Rapid Transit," was runner-up for Best Scripted Feature Film at the AOF 2014 Film Festival and screenplay competition, based on my book "Crossroads: Inside Callisto," published in England. In 2013, a TV series, "Tough Guys," won an AOF award. Currently I'm looking for representation in Hollywood to get my work produced.
I started in the movie business in the late sixties and early seventies as a rewriter and idea man, writing the treatment for the movie "Fort Apache the Bronx" and doing rewrite work for "Saturday Night Fever" and "Hellraiser," as well as the Broadway play "Knockout" by Louis La Russo II. I also wrote successful sports shows for Canadian TV (Martin Rosenblat Productions) and had scenes showcased on The Sopranos in the fifth season. I also co-produced the George Burns TV specials (music) with Larry Fallon in the eighties.
Currently I finished a joint project with actor Frank Sivero, "Siculiana," a movie script that portrays a powerful love story with a dark side, and I am working on a mystery crime script for speculation titled "Spitten Image," and have finished a sci-fi classic script called "The Anomaly."
My first novel, "Confessions of a Palm Beach Psychic," written ten years ago, describes in fictional form my life as a clairvoyant. I have also rewritten material for others, including scripts and a romantic novel, and I still do readings for people who need them.
I have a BA degree from Brown University in American literature with a minor in English expression, and I attended the writing school at NYU. Currently I am still running my rental business, with properties in Florida, Tucson, Arizona, and Seattle, Washington. I attribute my ability to continually work on and produce sound, marketable projects to Neo-Tech and Neothink principles, and I secretly wish the tide will turn and the new civilization will have a major breakthrough. I would like to personally thank you, Mark Hamilton, for your enlightened practices and management techniques.
Best regards, Matt DeG.
