Before I found Neothink, I was one of Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses.\u00a0 I had wasted 20 years, more or less, placing Watchtower and Awake magazines at the doors.<\/p>\n
No matter how much I did, they always wanted more.\u00a0 They wanted more time, more money, more placements\u2026\u00a0 And the rules were endless!\u00a0 They expected people to follow strict, arbitrary dress codes.\u00a0 They made it almost impossible for me to meet the opposite sex, after promising me that they would help me in that area.<\/p>\n
Prior to getting Neothink, I had stopped activity in that religion.<\/p>\n
However, I still did not celebrate Christmas or other holidays.\u00a0 And they were making specious arguments, promising to fulfill the original promises that they made the first time if I went back.\u00a0 Somehow I was able to stall on them.<\/p>\n
One day, I got Neothink\u2019s offer.\u00a0 I sent it in this time (I refused about a year earlier in deference to the Watchtower Society).\u00a0 And, when I got the first book, I looked hard for any rules.\u00a0 I read it through in about 2 weeks, and found that there were no rules except for not initiating force, threat of force, or fraud against others or their property.\u00a0 With such subjects as music, I found only the advice that one could enjoy works that went against their beliefs for their artistic merits.\u00a0 What a contrast to the Watchtower directive against listening to music that was even slightly off-color!<\/p>\n
Then came Part 2.\u00a0 In it, I found the directive that I would benefit from getting a computer.\u00a0 That would be for the meetings, as well as that a computer is such an excellent value.\u00a0 I got one inside of 2 weeks of reading it, plus broadband in another 5 weeks (compared to one of the \u201cbrothers\u201d<\/p>\n
that gave me a computer minus monitor to study Watchtower material on that sat for nearly 5 years).<\/p>\n
As for the Bible, I found that it was flawed right from the start.\u00a0 The book I was supposed to be basing my life on, according to the Watchtower Society, not only had mistakes in the original writing (not transcription errors), but was assembled by corrupt people that wanted to keep people bicameral and helped set off the first Dark Ages with it!\u00a0 Beneficial??\u00a0 To set off a Dark Age?\u00a0 I don\u2019t think so.<\/p>\n
Neothink also solved many mysteries about the Bible.\u00a0 That solved the whole Trinity argument.\u00a0 It also solved the miracles.\u00a0 And, most of what Jesus was saying was not to be taken literally.\u00a0 He was talking to bicameral men, not to men with conscious thinking abilities.\u00a0 In that light, it all made sense.<\/p>\n
I feel I understand the Bible better now with Neothink than I ever would have as one of Jehovah\u2019s Witnesses (who claim to live according to the Bible!).\u00a0 It also sealed my decision that there was nothing to gain from going back to the Watchtower Society.\u00a0 But there was one problem left:\u00a0 The holidays.<\/p>\n
Well, it took seemingly forever for Part 3 to come.\u00a0 I had thought it had been sent out and lost, and that I was out of the system.\u00a0 I hunted the Internet high and low for information to get reactivated, to no avail.\u00a0 All I got was the Neothink official site with comments, both good and bad\u2013I added a couple of comments to the \u201cGood\u201d side since I found nothing fundamentally wrong with Neothink literature.\u00a0 I read the bad comments, most of which were made by people that didn\u2019t give it a fair chance or that told blatant lies (like we were already Zons and the like, none of which it actually said).<\/p>\n
Eventually I got the Part 3.\u00a0 That sealed it for the holidays:\u00a0 Even though we were not Christians, we still did them.\u00a0 It\u2019s just that we are not supposed to use Santa Claus to manipulate children\u2019s behaviors like people outside commonly do.\u00a0 Though it was late for a full Christmas tree, I did order ornaments and decorate house plants I had.<\/p>\n
In fact, I quickly found those \u201capostate\u201d Jehovah\u2019s Witness sites that they wanted people to stay off.\u00a0 They had logical arguments that the Watchtower Society did not follow the Bible as they claimed to.\u00a0 Not only was the Bible full of problems, but the Watchtower Society added to them.\u00a0 All they were good at is creating problems where none needed to exist, and they are extremely difficult to undo.\u00a0 I joined one of them, in an attempt to undo some of the initiatory fraud I had a share in using to get their message out, and to warn others against joining their scam.<\/p>\n
I find Neothink highly valuable for anyone who is in a cult, thinking of joining one, or has recently left or is thinking of leaving one.\u00a0 The Neothink structure encourages independent, fully integrated thinking which would be death to any cult.\u00a0 And there is no structure that makes leaving unnecessarily difficult, nor excessive membership dues that go to support a corrupt organization.\u00a0 This is the anti-cult.\u00a0 Which means, if you have been involved in a cult, the information merits a good looking at since it will bust the myths that the cults use to imprison members.\u00a0 In fact, many who leave cults find themselves unable to learn to think for themselves and will end up right back into the cult.\u00a0 Neothink will help you think for yourself, and help you stay out of those destructive organizations.<\/p>\n
As for the Watchtower Society, they can take their Kingdumb Hells and shove them!<\/p>\n
