Did I doubt it from the beginning?\u00a0 Yes, very much so. But something about it, had a certain ring of truth about it.\u00a0 Did I go \u201chog wild and pig crazy\u201d over it?\u00a0 Not for one minute.<\/p>\n
I am too methodical for that response.<\/p>\n
You see, my experience with theories, mystic (religious) experiences, and Biblical studies has not been all negative.\u00a0 Even my position in the church has been that of an Elder on the Board of directors. (Who made decisions and voted upon financial and spiritual matters regarding the everyday running of the church with the minister as the chairman.)<\/p>\n
So have I done a complete \u201cturn-a-round\u201d?\u00a0 Quite frankly, no. \u2013my position at the moment has placed me at a \u201cCrossroads\u201d.<\/p>\n
This may sound ironic, but the final straw has been our President Bush. Never, have I seen such open degeneration of truth. Most of the Evangelical and Fundamentalists (also, others not considered\u00a0 in either category), many still accept him, because of his tears on a video passed from church to church before his \u201cquestionable\u201d election.\u00a0 -The man lies when the truth would be a lot easier.-\u00a0 Stripping us of freedoms with the excuse of protecting our freedoms. A war , (as most wars)\u00a0 used to produce profits for himself and Cheney,\u00a0 with \u201ckickbacks\u201d from Halliburton, Bechtel, and others.<\/p>\n
Back down to more solid ground and off of my \u201csoapbox\u201d. (Well, for awhile.)<\/p>\n
Neothink has provided along with Mark Hamilton\u2019s writings, for me-a different outlook on how our economic, social and potential for life could\/should be changed -if our political structure was converted with concern about\u00a0 individuals\u2019 needs. ~ Neothink (or Neothink) may seem like just an \u201covernight sensation\u201d but (like most musicians), this developmental process has been ongoing for many years. Beginning with Dr. Frank R. Wallace and his writings, i.e. PROOF of the Civilization of the Universe, Profound Honesty (Zonpower), as examples.<\/p>\n
All of this progression has not been without controversy.\u00a0 It continues to be a process that can change life as we know it, this makes for uncomfortable concern; change always produces a certain amount of anxiety.<\/p>\n
Jesus with his proclaiming that your need for an intermediary was not needed: a priest, a scapegoat, or a political governor.\u00a0 Your heaven begins with you.\u00a0 This caused great concern among the authorities, it bordered on revolution-certainly from their viewpoint, a definite need for his execution.<\/p>\n
\u2018Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them.\u00a0 But the disciples rebuked those who brought them.<\/p>\n
Jesus said, \u201cLet the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.\u201d\u00a0 When he had placed his hands on them, he went on from there.\u2019\u00a0 Mathew 19 , 13-15.~New International Version<\/p>\n
Yes, there are many interpretations of this passage of the New Testament.\u00a0 Mine may be different, but in light of the individual seeking his way as a beginner or child, the need for guidance and encouragement\u00a0 from all of us, is a tender analogy.\u00a0 No one should be discouraged from seeking his own way.\u00a0 Especially, if done with an honest desire.\u00a0 For truly,\u00a0 we are all in each other\u2019s responsibility and care.<\/p>\n

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.<\/p>\n
