I really love and appreciate our senior citizens; I especially feel very bad for the Senior Citizens in our society because they have contributed the most to our country and received the least…..Think about it, their entire lives they have worked putting money into our economy, even back when the minimum wage was $2.85 per hour; and at that low wage, they continued to pay into the Social Security Retirement System.  All of their 60+ years they have attempted to secure for themselves what my Mom calls the, “Golden Years.”   The Golden Years for those in their 80s’ means the long awaited time in life when the elderly can rest from their labors and enjoy each day living on their S.S.I. Pension Funds for which they have contributed to all of their lives.  

Some of these elderly; who have managed to afford a higher education having lived through the depression; have been able to pay into additional retirement pensions through their employer’s offered retirement pension fund.   So how would you feel as a senior living in our day knowing that our government is stating the Social Security Retirement Fund is bankrupt?  Last evening I received this email from a senior friend of mine and I have to admit it made me so sad and at the same time, so disappointed with our political system’s inability to care for our seniors that I decided to do more than just pass the email around ─ I wrote back to my elderly friend to tell them I would turn it into a blog and publish it.   Here is that Email:  This should be read and UNDERSTOOD by ALL AMERICANS whether Democrat, Republican, Libertarian.   Everyone needs to see and realize what is going on!

It is now official, you are ALL CORRUPTED MORONS:

Here are some minor issues that, “We, the American People” have with your representation of our equal rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.   I couldn’t make my mortgage payment last month; you don’t worry about that living in your American Citizen funded estate housing.  I lost my pension when you bailed out the huge corporation that cut my job and gave its executives a $20,000.00 bonus Incentive.  How is your Life Long Government Representative Retirement plan going? Here are some other things you have done for us:  The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775, you have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.  Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.  Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.  War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor” and they only want more.  Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.   Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.  The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.     You have FAILED in every “government service” you have forced on us through your legislative mandate, and the accompanying taxation that would fund these services.  Now you are asking Americans to trust you with their health through your Government Run Health Care System?  Yes, we need a change.   How long will we continue to allow the collapse of our finances and our futures with the mismanagement of today’s government programs and services? And that was the email that was sent to me….. I must confess that I cleaned it up alittle so that it could be published here on this site….. The senior citizens in our country are the ones most at risk of loosing it all to our miss-managed political funding systems.  We the American People, as a Unified Body, need to stand up in defense of our economic future as an Independent and Free America before it is too late!  We need to free ourselves, our children, and our parents from the devastation of this on going governmental forced impoverishment to our lives or we will simply not continue to live……
