Our Founding Fathers were so close to creating the perfect society – if they had only thought to add that one piece – no initiatory force. My husband has always had a favorite saying: “your rights end when they start to interfere with the rights of another”. What a wonderful way to say that your freedom, and my freedom, should never be tampered with through the force of another. I saw a bumper sticker the other day with a Thomas Jefferson quote. It said “When government gets big enough to give you everything you want, it also has the power to take away everything you own.” Think about that. Do we really want to give away more and more of our personal power to the system? I think our Creator had bigger plans for us than that. And only when the “rule of man” has been put aside, can we as human beings live up to the potential we were created to enjoy. Sheyenne K.
