I’ve been using this kind of marketing -one message over another – in my style of teaching. Not directly, but as a way of getting my point across to students. In every class, there are a few who don’t seem to get the point. I try multiple ways of saying the same thing until I see their eyes light up and I know they “got it”. This is much like the two level marketing Mark was talking about in getting the message past the adult to the child. I’m retired now, but I really understand the concept of the double message.
