Mark, thank you for your support and I look forward to receiving my Heirloom manuscript (the 550 plus pages). What follows is my ‘integrated propasal’ at work. I’m a bartender at a restaurant that has been in business for 52 years and for the last 50 years at the same location. The specialty of the reataurant are the steak entres. Incredibly the owners of the place had never contacted the local businesses which are bountiful in a 5 mile radius of our location. My idea was to write up or help write up a ‘welcome to our historic eating extablishment’ special offer proposal to the area businesses, bring 4 people in for dinner and receive the fourth glass of beer or wine on the house or better yet give the fourth person a discount on their steak or even the fourth steak was free! The free steak idea didn’t fly so it was rejected. After the special offer was peinted up I offered personally, on my dime, to deliver as many of the offer sheets to as many businesses or individuals as I could reach and to keep doing this until we saw the results. Of course, by driving to the location of the businesses in the 5 miile radius I would save the reataurant the mailing expense. I also offered to help call the businesses after delivering the flyer to invite them in for dinner and to an swer any questions they might have . I should add that the restaurant I work for doesn’t advertise much and built their business by word of mouth. By combining letter/copywriting, meetings with owners, phone calls, and working the extra hours I thought it would be a winner. My idea was rejected not once but twice. I need to expand my horizons, and The Neothink Society will do that, I am sure. Thanks for your tine, Tom
