I am grateful that I get to listen to these again. I took notes. I am a nurse whose hands are really tied by government regs but I can still play at work to make the lives of my residents much more pleasant. Just the other day a woman I care for (I fill in at nursing homes so had only been there twice, a Monday night shift and a Saturday day shift) and she said something and I had to say What? then she thought she hadn’t been clear but I just said, “oh, I have to turn my ears on” and she said she has to do that sometimes to but what she said was so nice to hear, she said, “ever since you’ve made your presence hear, life has been so good” Well, of course, that brought tears to my eyes, but I know I’m in the right place even though I go to many places at least the people I care for get to feel what I have to give. I am so wanting us to get going and stop aging and find the cure for death.
