Terrococrat leaders more often than not, do not need to use direct force to cajole and control the citizens under their thumb. The control is largely implicit – “do as we say” – or face the consequences. It is only through the rule of man that such ‘underhand’ bully tactics have any power – that rule is an illusion – built on a ‘house-of-cards’ …it is simply the implicit and unchallenged acceptance to be a sheep to the wolves.
