The Ruling Class exploits – and is why we need the Prime Law
The native tribesman was, for the first time in his life… taken out of his forest and up a mountain, by a western visitor. He pointed down the mountain and asked ‘what are those insects?’ – the surprised visitor replied: ‘They are not insects, they are buffalo’ (that is a true story, as mentioned in Richard Dawkins book… The Extended Phenotype). The native tribesman had no conceptual context, with which to make sense of the panoramic view. Normally, the furthest thing from his view is the next tree, or the floor, or the canopy of the forest. The human brain is thus, naturally gullible and susceptible to mysticism… and this is what the Ruling Class exploits – and is why we need the Prime Law.
