It was interesting to note that you put educators into your categories to look at the 10 sec. miracle and FNE. We were just talking the other day about how the number of students in out public school has dropped by about 400 students. They are going in to charter schools which are non-union but which have the money available to them whether or not they keep a student. So I should try to look at my students or my school by trying to figure out how to get more students in to the school or how to get more students to improve their grades or how to get more students to earn to listen or listen to learn. I especially like your quote that “the written word retained more than the spoken word.” I pass this information to my students often but it is often not headed through the ipods and the many “toys” that today’s students have.
